California IEP Timelines (Reference)
- Annual Review:Must be held within one year of the date of the last IEP meeting (Ed. Code §56343).
- Triennial Review:A full re-evaluation must occur at least every three years to confirm continued eligibility (Ed. Code §56381).
- Initial IEP:Must be held within 60 days of receiving written parental consent for the initial assessment (Ed. Code §56344).
- Progress Reports:Must be provided to parents at least as often as progress reports are issued to parents of non-disabled students (Ed. Code §56345.1).
